TMX Friends are on their way. So you may be asking what is a TMX Friend? Well Its actually T.M.X. Friends and it stands for Tickle Me Extreme Friends. You may remember last year T.M.X. was hot on the market and this year his friends are on their way. TMX Ernie and TMX Cookie Monster are the new doll friends that are on there way and sure to heat up the mall scene this fall.
Last year kids couldn't get enough of the TMX Elmo. As soon as Walmart would get a shipment of TMX Elmos in they'd be gone. Many parents were left in the dark wondering if they were going to get a chance to find their child thats loves Elmo one of the prized plush toys. This year Elmos Ticklish friends may be likewise as tough to get. Many fans of the TMX Elmo simply must have the TMX Friends. In the mid 90's oafter the Tickle Me Elmo doll released (a full 10 years before the TMX Elmo) it was the hottest item. The following year the Tickle Me Friends were released and did quite well in sales and much in part because the success of the Tickle Me Elmo.
This year the online market will flourish with sales of the TMX friends much like the TMX Elmo doll last year. Last year Ebay Saw bid after bid for the hot commodity. Don't expect much to change this year. Many kids like the TMX Friends as much if not more than the popular Elmo. In time these toys will probably only go up in value as they become collectors items and have a following of kids all over the world and not just in the USA. I will offer a few suggests if you want one of these dolls this year. First know how much they are retailing for and that figure is $29.99. Which is 10 dollars cheaper than the TMX Elmo was introduced for however the new dolls are also a couple inches shorter than the Elmo. Secondly get one as early as possible either online or in a retail store. I would try to get one ordered in the first week they arrive. They will arrive sometime during October. Don't wait if this is on a child's Christmas list this year as they may be gone or Too expensive if you wait till the last 3 weeks of Christmas.
A couple factors could keep the TMX Friends from selling as well this year still. This first being the popularity of the Webkinz Doll. Webkinz are a plush toy that comes with a secret code that you log onto the internet with. Once online you enter a playful virtual world with a virtual version of the plush pet. These have remained popular since December of 2006 and will continue to sell well this year and may out shadow the Friends. The other toy that could keep the furry down is the Singing Pizza Elmo. Singing Pizza Elmo comes dressed like a gourmet chef and is aided in interactivity by a singing pizza pie that he holds in his hand. These factors may be the only thing keeping every TMX Friend from flying off the shelf faster than the TMX Elmo did the year before.
